Goorooyarroo Parish, Murray County is a parish of Murray County, New South Wales, a cadastral unit for use on land titles. It is located to the north-east of the Australian Capital Territory. About a third of the parish was transferred to the ACT in 1909; which included what is now the northern suburbs of Gungahlin. The Goorooyarroo nature reserve is in part of the area in the ACT which was part of the parish. [1] A small part of the Electoral district of Monaro and Electoral district of Burrinjuck were in the parish as of 2007 as mentioned in their electoral district profiles. [2][3]
